Fungal Nails

Fungal infected nails can be unsightly and embarrassing.

When nails are infected with a fungus the nail tends to look yellow, white or black.  Sometimes the nail raises and separates from the toe. The infection can spread to your skin causing tinea.

It can be a tough infection to get rid of as most preparations people buy over the counter do not work.

This condition, which is called onychomycosis, is a very common problem we see.

Your podiatrist at the Active Foot Clinic can advise you on the best  treatment options, how to prevent re-infection to yourself and the infection spreading to family members.

If you are concerned that you may have a fungal infection in your nails speak to your Active Foot Clinic Podiatrist today and they will point you in the right direction.
