15 Years of Active Foot Clinic….. Our Story!
Active Foot Clinic celebrates 15 years in 2020!
Lina Wood, one of the Principal Podiatrists, founded Active Foot Clinic in Wagga Wagga in 2005. Prior to
this, Lina had been living in and practicing podiatry in London, and upon moving back to Wagga Wagga, with the encouragement of Lina’s husband Bill, Active Foot Clinic was born.
Fast-forward to today, thanks to an amazing team, Active Foot Clinic has helped over 35,000 people!
Rapidly we found that we kept out-growing our clinic locations which required 4 renovations/changes in location. It was then that we saw a need for providing stylish and functional footwear, and the Active Foot Clinic team added the first shoe store to our existing Wagga clinic.
Now we have clinics in
Wagga & Surrounds including Leeton, Cootamundra, Temora, Gundagai, Tumut, Tumbarumba, Adelong, Lockhart
Albury & Wodonga
Bowral and Mittagong
The focus of Active Foot Clinic has always been on providing exceptional ongoing clinical training to our podiatrists, to ensure that all patients received the highest quality service. This also ensures that we are a preferred employer, enabling us to recruit the best podiatrists in the region.
Since the opening of the first clinic, the service has grown to service 13 sites, including 3 stylish shoe stores, and a team of 24 amazing staff - and we are still growing year on year.
Active Foot Clinic is still a family-owned clinic, owned by Lina & Bill Wood and Ben Hinton, which aims to provide excellence in patient care, enabling optimal health outcomes for our patients, while delivering a warm and welcoming experience.

What’s next for Active Foot Clinic?
All staff will receive training in diagnostic ultrasound ensuring faster and more accurate diagnosis when you visit us with foot or ankle pain.
This year we are launching our own in-clinic custom-designed 3D printed orthotics.
Additionally, we will be expanding our services in the Southern Highlands to patients in Mittagong.
We will continue to expand our footwear ranges, and we will be adding an online shoe store so that you and your friends see the full scope of our stylish and comfortable shoes available at the click of a button.
