Sophie is a local Wagga girl, growing up on the family farm between Mangoplah and Cookardinia. She attended CSU in Albury and studied a bachelor of Podiatric Medicine. Sophie says she chose to be a podiatrist “because it is a specialised field of work. Being a podiatrist means that I can help people who are suffering from a great deal of pain who are limited to daily activities. If I can help them and improve their quality of life then that is very special and rewarding to me.”
