We’re here to help
With such frequent changes happening in regard to health and safety within our country, we’d like to update you, our valued patients, with the changes our clinic has made to best cater for your needs.
Our Contribution To the COVID-19 Response
The Department of Health requests that Podiatrists continue to see patients in order to minimise undue pressure on GPs and hospitals during these challenging times. While we are not an essential service to all, we are an essential service to many. This is because when foot and ankle conditions are left unattended, they can become significantly worse resulting in avoidable nasty complications and/or hospitalisations. Although there are serious social recommendations made in response to COVID-19, it is important to ensure other health needs are not neglected.
Now is not a time to ignore your foot problems or cease any health plan you are currently on. Thus, we have ensured ways we can deliver your care with the health and safety of you and our valued staff at the forefront of our practise.
Your care, your way
Hygienic In Clinic Care
Every Staff Member is Double Vaccinated
Yes, all 21 of us!!
Safety
We continue to provide the safest environment possible to access care. In order to do this, we request that any patient with cold or flu-like symptoms, recent travel to a hot spot, potential exposure to COVID-19, or who has travelled overseas within the last two weeks to reschedule their appointment. QR check-in is required upon entering the clinic.
Hand Sanitiser
We require that all clients and staff sanitise hands upon entry and exit of the clinic in addition to our normal hand sanitisation procedures.
Knowledge
All Active Foot Clinic staff members have completed their Health Professional Training Certificate for COVID-19.
Space Compliant with Social Distancing Requirements
We have multiple waiting rooms with generous spacing and minimal waiting time.
Cleanliness
In addition to our regular cleaning routine between each patient and our daily clinic clean, we have significantly increased our clinic cleaning throughout the work day. Due to our clinic’s compliance with Infection Control Standards, the additional measures we have put in place means our clinic is as clean and safe as possible.
Minimal Contact Appointments upon request - The Safest of Care
It is now possible to come to your appointment without needing to wait in our waiting room or touch anything apart from your thoroughly sanitised treatment chair, please just call the clinic when outside the clinic if you would like to initiate minimal contact appointments.
Here’s how:

Our clinic is a clean, hygienic environment, with stringent safety plans already in place. This service is an added option for those feeling uneasy about attending their appointment. Our traditional means of check in and payment at reception are still in operation, however, if you would like to take this minimal contact option, please do. Simply call reception after parking your car to check in.
